Oh, by the way, apart from intemperate calls to "slash the breaks on thy arm 
with a pole-axe," which is peachy when you have a measure of experience, for 
pity's sake, whatever approach you take, including simply counting the breaks 
per Tim's point, don't set yourself a particularly long first time - a week 
will leave you looking like hamburger, as well as discouraged by the 
difficulty of the exercise. Even a day can be a real wowser, first time. I 
collected four or six breaks the first HOUR I practiced guarding speech by 
Jugorum (I'd have to dig out the journal from that period to say for sure - 
it was disheartening).
 Just something that struck me reading the posts.

Stacte is Latin for myrrh OIL, not myrrh in general. It's used in the recipe
for Abramelin Oil, but not for Abramelin Incense. The old man made a clear
distinction in the Book.
