Well, I don't have a copy in front of me, but I ask them things like how long they've been into magic, what groups if any they've belonged too, why they're interested in joining, what Crowley works they've read, what they expect to get out of being in the OTO, and what they're willing to contribute in return for the benefits of membership (articles for _Annuit Coeptis_, crash space for visitors, etc.). _AC_ is not a book; it's our newsletter. 93--93/93... 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Kevin Bold Area: Thelema To: Michelle Hass 15 Jan 95 07:44:14 Subject: Newt Gingrich UpdReq 93! MH> Now there's another date for the "feast days of Thelema" calendar...the MH> Greater Feast of St. Norton I, Rex et Imperator! MH> Yeah, too bad he didn't have an heir. Better one like him than a petty MH> tyrant like Newt Gingrich or a simpleton like Bill Clinton. I had the interesting pleasure of hearing Newt Gingrich live and in person at the 1983 Space Development Conference in Houston. At the Saturday evening banques he was the warm-up act for Robert Heinlein (it was Heinlein I was primarily interested in seeing, hearing, and meeting, and I did); hardly anyone outside of Georgia in those days knew who Newt Gingrich was. He gave an excellent speech, one that revealed what a visionary he was, and the next day I met him in the hotel elevator and we chatted briefly. I'm kind of excited that I can honestly say that I met him "way back when". While I certainly do part company with him on some issues, I think Congress needs more forward-looking history teachers (Gingrich's original profession) and a lot fewer socialist lawyers. 93--93/93... 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718
