I personally would recommend _Diary of a Drug Fiend_, which was the first book pointed out to me. While it might be a tad redundant after _Book of the Law_, it makes 93 frightfully clear as to what it does and does not mean. It's also a rousing good novel! and I'm told it is (or used to be) recommended as a primer on the ups and very downs of drug abuse. _Magick in Theory and Practice_ is also a good primer, although I found it a bit technical in places. As for your other questions, I'll leave them to other more knowledgeable persons. I've gotten inquiries from some _very_ strange people, but when I answer their replies (with a questionnaire to facilitate getting to know them, some information for the aspiring Thelemite, and a sample copy of _Annuit Coeptis_), they very rarely write back; the questionnaire and the counsel that the O.T.O. is _not_ just another club or group is usually enough to scare the dilletantes away.
