I haven't yet seen any of the other stuff listed, so you're on your own there. The "Humankind ..." paper is a shorter version of a paper you already have -- "Divine Creation and Initiation". "Humankind" comprises all of section 1 and a little of section 2 of the larger paper. I'd gotten stuck on finishing the damned thing, and needed something to submit to a magazine, so I just selected out the first part and stuck on a couple of paragraphs to finish it off. When I sent out the electronic version, I decided the rest was important enough to include, even though it still isn't finished to my satisfaction. * SLMR 2.1a * Moderation causes Deficiency of Excess 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718 From: Azoth Area: Thelema To: Vitriol 25 Aug 92 08:25:00 Subject: Re: Summer doldrums UpdReq 93, Vitriol! V | Got Archive list #10 the other day - some interesting-looking stuff V | there. What's "Humankind..." about? I'm also curious about the Mezla V | reprints, J.D. Laurence's stuff, and the Nine Roots material -- any V | recommendations? The Mezla reprints are quite interesting, and some of the material from Zaxon. Don't overlook Mishlen's additions to the NightSide Tarot workings. The Lawrence material on Lovecraftian Qabala is quite provocative, if you're into that sort of thing.... };-] 93 93/93 ___ X JABBER v1.2 X Those are my principles. V | Just picked up a copy of the Kybalion, by `Three Initiates', pub. by V | Yogi Publication Society, (c) 1912, this edition published in 1940. V | ($3.50 at Reston's Used Books) So you're the one that's been raiding their stacks! Bought a big collection of Vivekenanda's work there last weekend, and a nice artsy one on Medieval French architecture, but their occult shelves have been notably thin of late. Unfortunately, I know little about those 'Three Initiates', but I like the little book. AMORC has had copious quotes from it as a 'supplemental monograph' for a long time, available to non-members through their supply office. Kinda reminds me of another little one from Yogi, called the _Secret_Doctrine_of_the_Rosicrucians_, by 'Magus Incognito'. Quite Theosophical, and interesting if read in that light. 93 93/93 ___ X JABBER v1.2 X Those are my principles.
