Thank-you, that makes sense and seems practical as well. I guess the
injunction against use of blood seemed absolute and I wondered why. Blood, in
my view seems about as living as yeast and less than your cockroaches. But, if 
I'm understanding you correctly, there is some lattitude given to Setians to
determine the appropriateness of their decisions in ritual.
