The address given is Ordo Templi Satanis, P.O Box 1093, Atwater, CA 95301. Everything I've read about this group (which is really very little, as no one seems to have alot of info on them) suggests that they dissolved after a short time. I think I read that in Arthur Lyons, "Satan Wants You." However that book was written in 1989 (I think) and the copyright on these excerpts is 1991. I'll be glad to send you copies of these files if you don't have them. It happens, sad to say. Trouble is, (and being cynical for a moment), it's hard to tell whether this is a slant given at the reporting (or even editorial) stage, or whether there is any basis in fact. The government is very keen to give minority groups a bad reputation, after all. But, on the other hand, there are certainly agitators whose existence is merely to cause trouble at public demonstrations. Did you enjoy your trip to London? Sure is... I wouldn't like to try and define "free" or "freedom" in a personal sense. My perception is that my lifestyle makes me as "free" as anyone, but the reality is quite different, when taking responsibilities into account. Or, is that where "freedom" comes into it? No responsibilities? I don't think so, but an interesting philosophical point :) B*B Julia 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Julia Phillips Area: Base of Set To: All 21 Oct 94 21:19:02 Subject: Satanic Set-ups UpdReq Hello All! A friend wrote to me recently, and mentioned a documentary on British TV, analysing the last 25 years of the "Irish Trouble". In the documentary, a military intelligence officer said the British forces used phoney "Satanic" set-ups to keep people away from their surveillance operations. He further said that the smoke screen was so effective, that they were the impetus behind the "satanic scares" that swept across Britain in the late 1980s early 1990s. No comments, just passing it on as an interesting (?) tidbit. B*B Julia 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718
