I don't believe their homosexual desires are necessarily "sins..." so we may have a difficulty there. I would ask you to clarify this statement by explaining more clearly how God "takes away" sins. I suspect we may be talking about two different things--what I meant was that they wished God to make their sexual orientation different...what I think you mean is that they wish God to forgive them (which they do...but they want more than that as well. The Catholic Church (which I grew up in) has always distinguished between sexual orientation and sexual practice. One may be a celibate homosexual, or even a married homosexual...but still homosexual. I guess I would shoot that one at you...is sexual orienttaion without sexual practice necessarily sinful? But, if your sexual orientation was homosexual, wouldn't you practice it? I guess, IF THERE EVER WAS A CASE, if they did not practice homosexuality but had thoughts about men, it wouldn't be a sin. Your thought life can not sin - it is YOUR actions that sin - of course your ACTIONS are brought upon by your thoughts - are they not? Peace, dude... Why is it so favored in here? Not all societies shun Homosexuality. In fact, many have embraced it as natural. I think you are showing your ignorance of history here, Jeffy.
