To all earnest seekers of self:
Last night I came to the startling conclusion that all my years of using drugs 
as a tool for self discovery coupled with ceremonial magick have failed to 
yield valuable insights.  While on pot all that comes through is static in 
the mechanisms of my brain and mind.  What seems a great realization of self 
has simply turned out to be confusion that I have fixated on in a nervous 
state.  Ceremonial magick only increases the sense of significance to the 
illusions of an overexcited brain.  At long last I see the truth and must 
trash a great deal of work done over the years.
I ask anyone whhad experien in this area and the courage to talk about it 
openly on this BBS to share some of their insights.  It seems I've suffered 
from lack of knowledge in this area and am interested in finding out more.
Aleister Crowley has written a great deal on this subject but from the point 
of view of a master of magick and yoga.  At some points he seems to insinuate 
that the use of drugs and sex in magick should only be used by adepts of the 
A.A. who are the only persons qualified to do so reliably.  Not one to accept 
limitations imposed by others this has not stopped me in my seeking of 
knowledge and experience.  Now, however, I find myself at a turning point and 
am ready for new ideas.  Talk to me.
