Dear Brother,
It's about 1am on Thursday and I've just returned from another brilliant class 
given by Jim E.  How about this.  The Hebrew letters are actually derived 
from the shadows given off by a certain object at different orientations.  
They're meant to guide the mind in meditation to break through to dimensions 
beyond the second.
It is said that the entire wisdom of The Torah is given in the first verse and 
even in the first letter, Beth.  Use the above meditation method to work with 
each letter of the first verse of Genesis without regard to literal meanings.
This is beyond me but Jim said that in 2-3 months he'd distribute a paper 
detailing the method, how it was discovered and derived, and proofs.  Wow!
On another topic, L.A. seems to have calmed down a bit since the riots. While 
there is no doubt that bad feelings still exist with bitter intensity, it 
doesn't feel like another riot is about to break out.  Hopefully the new 
police chief, Willie Williams, a human being rather than a vicious tyrant, 
can make life better for us in dealing with the cops.
