Broad brushes aren't without their own usefulness, provided you don't try to 
get too intricate with them; which may be what is beginning to happen here. I 
see no incompatibility with my categories and yours.  The line I drew was 
meant to distinguish between beings who have the capacity for 
self-consciousness and choice, to whom a concept such as the Law of Thelema 
could be useful or meaningful, and beings who do not have the capacity for 
choice or self-consciousness, to whom no such abstract concept could be of 
any use.  It appears to me that most humans fit into the first category.

One of the things that I was trying to get at was that some people (myself
included) can be in either mode depending on what the situation calls for
and I was wondering if this had any applications toward The Great Work.
