PGPWave can be used with any mail editor (ie GoldEd) or with any offline reader (ie BlueWave,Offline,SLMR) etc. The colours also can be configured so it will mesh better with the editor. - John 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Ted Rolle Area: Public Key Encryption To: Glen Todd 6 Apr 95 20:44:02 Subject: Bluewave & pgp UpdReq Hello Glen! Correct, PGPWave doesn't allow configurable parameters to be passed to the editor. RD> Specifically, my editor call is: RD> c:\ved\vedit.exe -x e:\bbs.vdm @f RD> How do I do tAhe same in PGPWave? (Bbs.vdm is a macro that sets up bbs RD> specific settings for the editor.) You can't. Lets see.. if it's possible to configure the parameters when running vedit (Ie "Default command line parameters" if there is such a thing in vedit) you can do that. Until the next version (which may be a while) you can do this: (ve.bat) @Echo Off c:\ved\vedit.exe -x e:\bbs.vdm %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 Then use BAT2EXEC or a similiar program and convert it to a .COM or .EXE program to convert it into something that can be run by PGPWave (as it doesn't run Batch files directly as of yet) Sorry I can't be of more help, but that should work for now.. - John 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Jim Gorges Area: Public Key Encryption To: All 6 Apr 95 21:59:08 Subject: PGPWave via FTP UpdReq -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- In case anybody is interested, John Stephenson, author of PGPWave, has given me his permission to upload PGPWave to the SimTel archive. Email requesting permission to upload went to the archive administrator today. Since this is a first for me, I don't know how long it will take them to say "yes" or "no." Hopefully, it won't be too long and version 1.08a will be available for anonymous FTP.
