Two days before I moved my modem crashed, so I have been scarce lately. Thanks for the birthday card I did not get ;) The modem should be fixed by the middle of next week and the bbs will be back by Aug 1, maybe a few days earlier. I finally got the new computer set up and am thinking about adding a extra line also. Talk to you soon. 93 93/93 NChSh 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718 From: Ammond Shadowcraft Area: Night Side To: Frc 9 Jul 92 08:27:00 Subject: Re: RE: Re: freethinkers don't censor UpdReq -=> Quoting Frc to Ammond Shadowcraft <=- Fr> Are Fr> the rights "purchased" by those with a ticket more important than the Fr> baby's to communicate? NS> Afterall are the creatures of Alpha Centuri (or NS> Sirius for that fact), going to be worried about NS> whether somebody imposes there interpretations of NS> the forces of nature, or whether something works or not? Precisely! "Evil" is just an anthropocentric label for things/actions which the labeler(s) do not like. Xtians have a terrible time with the fact that Mother Nature eats her own, i.e., there is extreme violence in the so-called "natural" world. Why should humankind be expected to be any different? Because the bible tells us so? Bullshit! Once one can pass mentally/philosophically beyond these facile labels of good/evil with which we have all been brainwashed, then life as it exists becomes much easier to face, e.g., one can defend oneself without the tiniest twinge of guilt. It is much more difficult to quell anger at having to restrain oneself from doing what REALLY should be done because, after all, we still live in a largely socialized society that dictates such restraint as a price for partaking of all the "goodies" with which that society bribes us. But are the goodies worth the effort? THAT becomes the most difficult question of all.... 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718 From: Jonathan Corwin Area: Night Side To: Charles Nemo 11 Jul 92 14:28:46 Subject: Ragnarok Lumberjacks?
