I came in a bit late on this, so if I insert my foot in my mouth, please let me know and I'll attempt to extract it. I feel this is kind of a hazy situation. It IS questionable as to whether the rights of the ticket purchasers exceed those of the baby's right to communicate. On the other hand, I would ask if it's the parent's right to bring a potentially disruptive infant into an environment where the infant's actions might be construed as infringing upon those of the other patrons. Maybe the best situation would be a baby sitter, if affordable. I for one would like to find out anything >I could on the subject of a more Thelemic-Oriented Enochian >frame-work..... Perchance their archives could help me. Hmm. I can't recall much in past listings, though I do believe they had a copy of "The Book of Babalon", which was done on an Enochian base. (It was done by some OTO-er in the 40's. I forget his name -- the one who got killed in a lab accident.) Mish recently told me they had received a BIG Enochian-related text from Robert Podgurski, which should be on the next Archives listing. I don't know if it's specifically Thelemic, but I believe most of R.P.'s past work has been in that current. Since the Angels of the Tablets always give you what you want (if you work hard enough) the most direct way to get a Thelemic framework to use would be to do a series of Angelic invocations with that in mind. Why not give it a try, if you've got the time? BTW, I liked your idea of posting occasional messages explaining various aspects of chaos & darkside magick. Most of my own information on the subject has come from a British rag called The Lamp of Thoth, which doesn't seem to be a very good source -- mostly yak about how magick should be "colorful", and authors venting their rage about how nobody understands them. They never seem to get around to saying what it's all about. (I had bought every one of Grant's books as they came out, and every one of them vanished -- not stolen or mislaid, but VANISHED -- before I got a chance to read them. And I have done invocations of about half the "genii" in Crowley's Liber CCXXXI and the equivalent qliphotic genii, but that was a long time ago, and not with any particular purpose in mind. I hear they are part of Grant's darkside ideas, but my experience doesn't supply any clues as to how it might relate.) So my ignorance on the subject is profound, and is probably shared by a lot of people following more traditional approaches. So would you, or anyone else in this section, be willing to put up a statement of the basic principles and goals of chaos & darkside magick, and explain how they differ from each other, if in fact they do differ? And Frater, I promise not to start arguments just for the sake of arguing. I don't promise not to question what I'm told, but will try to keep my questions oriented towards clarification of the issues. * SLMR 2.1a * Tagline confiscated by the Drug Enforcement Admin. 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718 From: Markie Chao Area: Night Side To: Azoth 10 Jul 92 18:14:30 Subject: Sherwin Sent UpdReq A> indicate that Ray was convinced, at least as of 1979, of the literal A> existence of Miskatonic U..
