Yep, I never did understand the people that would force a woman to bear a child she didn't want, not want her to have financial support to raise it with, then take it away at age 18 and send it to war. Just never made sense to me. Either the life is sacred and should be nourished and protected at all ages, or it isn't. UpdReq In the front page of the editorial section of the Chicago Tribune for April 23, 1995, James Champy, whose best-selling "Reengineering the Corporation" put the term downsizing in the current language, admits that his grandiose theory--designed principally to streamline business for greater efficiency in this Information Age--may have done nothing more than create an inverted pyramid of corporate structures that could topple very soon..."This partial revolution was not the one I intended," he says. "Half a revolution is not better than none. In fact, it may be worse." Sort of reminds me of Thalidomide... Additionally, the front page of The New York Times finds the Republicans scrambling after finding that indeed this nation faces a health care crisis, one they insisted did not exist at the time they were vigorously opposing President Clinton attempts at health-care reform. It seems that some aspects of the Contract On America are going to hit the sacred cow they pledged would remain unblemished and are hurrying to put a spin on things they said last few. They would probably say, "Better late than never." Sor tof reminds me of the Rhythm Method.... --Political Cartoon caption: Now freed from the bonds of welfare slavery, and buoyed up by a current of tough love, the receipients of the Contract With America are set free to fly (post-flight lessons were deemed too expensive for this current budget). 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718
