TH> When choosing the names of your Goddess and God do they TH> have to be out of the TH> path that you have chosen? Or can you chose one from TH> one path and one out of And you are brave enough to ask a Wise Woman this! Congrats, lady! There are some traditions that dogmate that you must keep loyal to your trads Gods and Goddesses. I don't. Wise Woman is ancient and open...carrying many of the Earth religion paths and trads within its structure. We choose whatever God(s) and/or Goddess(es) calls to us (feels right). When steppin' where hertiage lies...tread softly and with one hell of a lot of respect. I.E. Native Americans....some find it amazingly offensive that anyone not of their own would even dare touch their deities. Learn what you can about the deities that interest you....everything....heritage, past and present society, needs and wants, deity's aspects...use them wisely as they are used from one of that trad. TH> another path? Also where would I find more information TH> about the different TH> pathes and the deities that go with the paths? Drawing Down the Moon has a few listed in it (paths that is). Contact listings in Pagan zines for more info on the fancy trads and offbeat ones. Women's journals and zines will have a great base of Goddess orientated tradtions and paths. (which reminds me...I've yet to mail your listing of these and other zines...will do today then *grins*) I've found the best way to learn of others is to contact several different people of the same path or trad. Not every trad of like name works and worships the same... TH> If you ever get tired of my guestions, please tell me. I would hate to TH> become a bother to you or anyone else.
