UpdReq Most folks who surf the philosophical scene of religion have at least bumped into a few "Pagans"... usually "Wiccans" for the most part, as they tend to be the most visible component of modern pagan practices. While the dogma varies from sect to sect (as it does with any large metaphysical belief) there tends to be the one agreed upon premise (known as the Rede): "An it harm none, do as thou wilt." Consider, then, the following in the quote from St. Augustine of Hippo. There it is stated: "Therefore once for all this short command is given to you: "Love and do what you will." If you keep silent, keep silent by love; if you speak, speak by love; if you correct, correct by love; if you pardon, pardon by love; let love be rooted in you, and from the root nothing but good can grow." If this isn't the Rede in so many words, I don't know what is. I believe Jim Taylor has also stumbled upon some material in the book of Romans which also states essentially the same thing. .\ .\.\ ...
