From: Sewa Yoleme Area: Magical Plants To: All 22 Aug 94 17:28:48 Subject: Of the Jungle? UpdReq I've gleaned from recent posts that Of the Jungle is a mail-order company selling ethnobotanicals. Is this correct? If so, could someone post an address and/or phone number? And are there other mail-order houses out there selling ethnobotanicals of various sorts? Sewa Yoleme ... We spent a wonderful saturday afternoon together a couple of weeks ago. He and his lady came and visited me and mine! He's in Telluride for the annual mycology symposium (Ott's going to be there.) Probably be a week or so before he is active here again. My eyes ran to an annoying degree and I alternated between almost drooling and dry mouth. My equlibrium was very poor and for the initial part of the experience, I was a bit disoriented (in a not nice but not bad way.) I have heard that larger amounts yield very different effect, but I personally don't wish to persue it when there are others which, in my opinion, eclipse it. 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Deep Black Area: Magical Plants To: Talis Moonblade 23 Aug 94 21:49:00 Subject: Re: Psycobe Fanaticus UpdReq TM> I sent away for a catalog/Strynge, mailed it to them on friday 8-5 TM> I recieved the package on Wednsday 8-10, unbelievable service. By the way, their technique is fine, but standard glove box tech works just as well with their liquid spore method. Anyway, a brief squirt on a rice cake in a quart jar will yield a strong +3 within 5 to 6 weeks. Try using gerber bottles with 30ml agar. Cut off the very end tip of the nipple and plug well with cotton. After these are sterilized, you can lay them down and let them congeal. Then innoculation can take place by wiping the rubber nipple with Lysol and injecting directly onto the agar a few large drops. This eliminates the need for a glove box at that stage, but to transfer from that, you'll have to have one. Re-read the section in the PF tech papers dealing with innoculation of agar (they use rice/water agar, which works well.) 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718
