I can't find the old msg to quote you, but it was about the size of            
       pressure cookers.  Why is having a
quart-bottle size model so important? Why not get the cheaper one and buy the 
wide, half height jars.  The diameter would be the same, you just wouldn't 
have the extra empty space height above the media.  Is this a problem?
 Your expertise is required to explain the importance of tall bottles, maestro.
