I do not wish to do this in a public forum, particularly this one. 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718 From: Deep Black Area: Magical Plants To: TOM DENMAN 18 Nov 93 05:18:00 Subject: Re: ABSINTHE UpdReq TD> So Whatchya Figger? Anyone have any more infor on the nature of this irksome MG> intercession? I was snailed a newspaper article for my archives last year about some shipments of caapi and viridis being held up because they were being used in ritual at a New Orleans site. Obviously the brew was simply yage, but the "religion" was new to me. Diame was its name and it involved the use of the admixture, chanting and standing in chalkmarked squares drawn on the floor in a "table" like fashion. Didnt't really go into much detail. Syrian rue works at least as well as caapi and is very common (unless you were wanting it specifically for flavor or incense, etc.) 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718
