Merry meet Wolvesbane Having seen too many children die I would like you to forgive me for putting my two cents worth here but I would like to try to answer your question. W > W > But, why only let some of those children live a few years? W > They learned hardly anything in life... In my opinion they have learned the joy of being born, they have learned how to love unconditionaly, how to thirst for knoledge, some of them unfortunatly have had to learn what it's like to be unwanted, rejected and abused and all of them have learned again how to die. The list could go on and on but I'm sure that you get my point. If only for the above lessons, their lives were not wasted. The only person who can waste a life is the person who has the responsibility of living it. This is the truth as per Casper for what it's worth. (:D Bright Blessings to you Wolvesbane C. Some mediatation techniques use a candle or other object as a focus, some use mantras, some focus on breathing. The way you are trying to do it is IMHO one of the hardest for most people. The best way to get where you want to go is to pretend you are sitting in a crowded place or a room with a radio on, and tune the "noise" out. I'm sure that you do it when you are reading, or deep in a conversation with someone. This is the same thing, except the noise is coming from inside your head. :) When a thought comes in don't get upset, just say to yourself "thats just a thought", and go on meditating. The best book that I know of for concentration and visualization exercises is "Mind Games" by Master & Houston. The forward says that their objective in writing the book is "to put the first man on earth." :) B*B -Doug ___ X WinQwk 2.0 a#0 X Unregistered Evaluation Copy 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718
