True, it probably could help with your visualization if you were having trouble with it. Let me know when you're ready to create your first picture ritual and if you want any help...LOL, nothing artistic but I could sit in padmasana and hand you paintbrushes or something! You could probably paint a gargoyle-looking critter and bestow a charge of protective energy on it and hang it on yer door or something--probably the inside, so the neighborhood goths don't steal it. If you were gonna do a whole ritual on canvas, would you start by painting a 'banishing' in the upper left corner, I wonder, then paint a candle, then the flame, an incense burner, charcoal, incense, smoke, etc., working from left-to-right, top-to-bottom, like every step you'd take to approach any certain ritual, painted or drawn in order? I guess you could do all kindsa things. > If it was a ritual you plan on doing more than once I see no reason > why you couldent "recharge" it...or just "unsealing" or taking of > the bonds the are restricting the energy while its stored might > bring it to life again. Hey A gargole would be purfect cause I could even make him stand in the rune posture for protection. Since hes got wings and all that would look ritious. naw it wouldent fit on the door I wana do something BIG. Art seem like it will make a good medium for majik cause you can create anything you can think of. Tell me your not artistic. you keep coming up with all of these good ideas! I do think its time I got off my but and started working on some of these ideas though. ;) Love is the law, love under will. That doesn't seem to jibe with (admittedly popular) descriptions of typical sings. The elements are a gestalt - the sand painting without the songs is incomplete, not a spell/rite in itself. All the elements are key - none is inessential, none is more important than the other, in restoring hozroh. Do you have a source for this observation? Thanks, Paul 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Christeos Pir Area: MagickNet To: Chuck Barnard 21 Dec 94 20:44:52 Subject: Re: CHAOS UpdReq -=> Chuck Barnard sent a message to Martin Krogh-Poulsen on 12 Dec 94 21:20:00 <=- -=> Re: Re: CHAOS <=- Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. The opposite, BTW, is something close to "Bah'Adzd." If you ever need some Navajo phrases for something you're writing, let me know: I have some stuff in the back of a book published by Navajo Community College in Tsaile. It also has essays on natural dyes, rug styles, etc., on the Rez. (Most of the Navajo can't be romanized to the point of doing it in low-order ASCII.
