 This reminds me of an idea I had: if symbols can be put together to indicate
 a flow of ideas (just as we read a letter in a certain flow: topleft to
 bottomright), why couldn't a painting also be a spell or ritual?

 Heh! Actually, I've always had an affinity for languages, though not much
 of one for math. I dunno... once I started playing with it, it just stuck.
 Keep in mind that for almost 20 years, the only contact with the 93 current
 that I had was studying the few Crowley books I had found, so I spent a LOT
 of time going through AL and applying gematria to anything that jumped out
 at me. I found a lot of interesting stuff. I have a copy of AL that I
 did in WordPerfect that has a couple hundred footnotes. The whole thing
 comes to 156 (!) 8-1/2 X 11 pages.
