Es> Sounds socialistic to me.. Your concept of "socialism" is extremely out of whack. You simply using reb-baiting as your sole means of argument, without supplying an argument. Even within your post, it seems that you confuse individualism, in its extreme form, with democracy. The for a thing to be "legal/illegal" requires that a democratically-elected legislature (I assume we are talking about events within a democratic state, the US I presume), to enact those laws, which are subject to being constitutional (a document which protects the citizen from the capricous events of a time that may grip a government). Secondly, the idea of a warrent exists because one lives in a democratic state. For a warrant to be signed, the judge must be persuaded that the police have reasonalbe cause to presume that an illegal activity is occuring. You are protected. What seems to be you true complaint, behind the rhetoric, is the belief that the "wants" of an individual supercede any limits established by the group. However, I assume that you do agree with a society's right to place limits on its members, it appears that in this case you object to those particular limits. If that is the case then you deal directly with the issue, the reasons why you feel it oversteps those bounds and not to resort to meaningless rhetoric. along the path aside to Moderator I am wondering what exactly are the topic parameters for this echo? It would appear from the messages that anything goes (the only limit is that participants must be males). UpdReq Here's a question for you all. Just as there are inviolable laws in the physical world--gravity; birth-growth-death of all living organisms; the action-reaction rule; etc., etc.--what "inviolable laws" have you all discovered for the spiritual world? What happens the same way every time when you do something to trigger it? What do you think is true--not only for you but for everyone who has dealings with the spiritual realm? Another side question: if the physical and the spiritual are interconnected, do you believe that EVERYTHING you do in the physical world has an effect in the spiritual world, and vice versa? If so, how? What does it look like when this happens? One caveat: I'd prefer no glib "Love is the law, love under will" responses, please. Yes, I'll agree that love is essential, but I'm talking about laws in the sense of cause-and-effect here, not ethical rules of behavior. Let me what you think! Pax tecum, Maito Sewa Yoleme ...
