JH> 93! and Shalom JH> James I have heard much about the Farrars, mostly the fact that there not worth reading, so I have steared clear from any of there literature. I have been tempted as of late to buy one of their publications, it might be worth checking out. Since I've decided to move to Vancouver, B.C., I have run into more witches then I have run into in Victoria, so who knows what I might start reading. I Ching I'm tempted to dabble it, I guess as soon as I feel that I am ready for it, I'll jump in with both feet. 93!phil!93 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718 From: Domi O Area: MagickNet To: Erin 26 Aug 92 18:22:00 Subject: Sun? Female? UpdReq The Teach Yourself Irish book is one of the hardest to get through. The Buntus Cainte tapes and books (three books, 6 tapes) are much better, although they are not the dialect I do; they are clear and easy to understand. The Progress in Irish book (Maire ni Ghradha) is very good for getting a handle on the grammar quickly. I don't like O Siadhail's Learning Irish as well, or Irish for Everyone, though I have them and the tapes, as well as the Language 30 Irish (my dialect but very much tourist Irish) and I have Cursa Closamhairc Gaelige book and tapes, and Irish is Fun, and the McGonagle grammar and the Christian Brothers grammar and O Tuathail's Druids' Dictionary and the O'Donaill dictionary and Dineen's and de Bhaldraithe, and Briathra na Gaelige (the verb book!) and Howard's Na Briathra and the old bun-chursa ar cheapadoireacht gaeilige and gearrchursa gramadai. Keeps me busy. And sometimes they all contradict each other. Keep working. It begins to make sense after a while.
