From: Josh Norton Area: ENOCHIAN To: The Nephilim 9 May 95 17:49:00 Subject: Zalewski Lecture, Part 1 UpdReq Thus said The Nephilim to Josh Norton concerning Zalewski Lecture, Part 1: > Fi> SIGILLUM DEI AEMETH. Has Hebrew, Greek, & Sumerian names. The center > Semeliel = possibly from ShMSh, Shemesh, Sun > "magick square" made out of these traditional angelic names. Therefore, > they could not possibly be either Greek or Sumerian, and any resemblance > is entirely in the mind of the beholder. The same is true of the seven TN> Actually, Shammash was the Babylonian god of the sun (common TN> derivation). My god! A new message! I thought this echo had become moribund. The original Babylonian origin of the word -- which I was aware of -- doesn't detract from my argument. ShMSh / Shemesh is also common in Hebrew for "Sun" and all the names in the magick square were bastardized versions of Hebrew angel-names based on the _Hebrew_ names for the planets. The names in the Sigil of Ameth are _all_ derived directly from this magickal square (or another with angel-names of thoroughly Hebrew origin) by reading its letters in different directions, those derived names could not possibly be Greek, Sumerian, Babylonian, etc. ...
