I must admit to a personal implementation of:
"flat" tablets (finished and in use) in the simple colors (background
in elemental color, letters in elemental color with complementary for
subangle of element itself) using the English.  These are the same size as my 
altar top, and so I can put the tablet on the altar for some work
(about 16+ square) such as consecrating the elemental weapons, GD style.
(Of course, in this case it also acts as a crib sheet for the Enochian Names 
in that ritual (g)). Or I hang them on the appropriate walls for
general working.
 full-pyramid tablets (Fire and Water done, Air in progress) using enamels
for maximum glitz on the colors, with the Enochian letters in the flat-top of 
each pyramid, done big (2" squares). Still 2-dimensional drawing, but with a 
3D effect given the geometric patterns and the effects of the
colors.
