I've looked into the Hittites since the post, and they share quite a few of the gods and conceptions, even if they have reversed sexes most of the time. I found the book at a local shop called Wellsprings.. The manager in charge of the sotre had a personal interest in the Mesopotamian pantheon, as I found out when I was at the register... she ordered a few copies extra. I already have the hymns in my textbook, but thanks for the info! A local bookdealer called me when he had a chance to bid on a set of the recent Weiser printing. He sold it to me for $250. I hear that set is now out of print (can anyone confirm?). The 7th Ray in California recently had a used set in the $300+ range. Rumor has it Weisers may eventually publish it in paperback. Can anyone confirm this? I recently found it on the Web. Would you like that address? Happy hunting.
