Sorry you couldn't make it to Pyramid Lodge the other weekend :( ; I was looking forward to making your acquaintance, but since my post-periodontal work made me less than pleasant company, perhaps it's just as well. Since your're also IVo, maybe you can answer a question for me, raised by the summary of how to open & close intra-order correspondence. If you're also P.I.o, can you sign your letters "IVo & P.I.o", or something along those lines, or do you just omit the P.I. if you sign your name/motto? 93--93/93... 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Kevin Bold Area: Thelema To: Andy Bender 23 Dec 94 06:08:00 Subject: Membership In Oto UpdReq 93! One reason why Whiskey Rebellion Camp is still a camp is just that: our high membership standards, which we dare not drop, as they were forced upon us by some very "political" types (in the worst sense of the word) who just wanted to join in the hopes of making trouble for the O.T.O.. Fortunately, they've been very transparent, and while everyone free adult not on bad report (not the same as having a bad reputation) has a right to join the order, no one is under any compulsion to sponsor a troublemaker for initiation, not even for Minerval. 93--93/93... 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Kevin Bold Area: Thelema To: Tony Iannotti 22 Dec 94 03:09:24 Subject: Sarcasm/Bible Copyrights Rec'd UpdReq 93! True enough, but then I guess they don't mind not having copyright, or being able to leave the copyrights to an organization. Fi> I'm keeping a list of dodged questions . Any idea when you'll Fi> resume 91 Parts? Yeah, I do seem to be dodging a lot lately. It's all got the same reason -- doing the Parts was sapping my energy a lot more than I expected, and seemed to be fragmenting my awareness somewhat. Hard to concentrate on making synthetic connections between things when different parts of one's being are pulling in different directions instead of cooperating. I'll probably get back to the Parts one of these days, just from a sense of completeness; but for the moment I've had enough. I'm rebuilding my temple of the Water Tablet in order to recharge and to get my level of awareness back up to it's normal mode. Probably keep on with that for the next couple of months, at the least. (Incidentally, the last local PODnet BBS has now locked out all non- payers from downloading and uploading mail packets. Looks like I'll be much less available until I can come up with the scratch he wants.) ...
