Before coming across _Freedom is a Two-Edged Sword_, the only Parsons I'd read had been "The Book of BABALON" and the "Anti-Christ Working." Personally, I find FIATES an incredible piece of work, and wish *everyone* would read it. We also have a file online at my home bbs entitled PARSONS.LTRS, containing personal correspondence written by JP to Marjorie Cameron, Crowley, and Germer, which I found to show levels of maturity and insight approaching sublimity; as well as fairly tragic levels of disintigration in some of the later correspondence. I'd recommend both collections wholeheartedly to anyone interested in Parsons. I'm always interested when anyone brings up this matter...is there a common thread that leads you to link these Dark Goddesses, beyond the simple 'Dark Goddess' motif? There was a discussion a while back around Kali-Lilith-BABALON; and while Kalika Mahadevi and BABALON line up *perfectly* for me, I've never been able to fit Lilith in there, in any deeper sense than their all being part of the 'Bad Grrlz Club.' Any thoughts you'd care to share on the matter? I wouldn't go *that* far...maybe you do need to exit your living room for a while though. Almost every Thelemite I know is extremely well-read, not *only* in Crowley, but a variety of other authors as well. And of course we've read _Liber AL vel Legis_. We couldn't be Centres of Pestilence if we hadn't! So there.
