From: Paul Hume Area: Thelema To: Ralf Loeffler 29 Sep 94 09:09:32 Subject: Equinox Vol. III UpdReq Ralf - Volume III was not like Vol I (you may already know this, sorry if it is a replay). III,1 was a journal, like Vol I, and is sometimes called the "Blue Equinox" as it was released in blue bindings. The other numbers of Vol III are monographs, books, and include The Book of Thoth, Equinox of the Gods, and other titles you may already have. Equinox III,10 was not produced by Crowley at all, but was edited by the OTO containing documents old and new focussing on the 93 Current as exemplified in the Order. The Crowley-copyright material (still in effect or in PD) that makes up Vol III is to be found on the various boards with Crowey material. III,10,with the rights in Weiser's name, is not online. CP> Budge's accuracy (or any alleged lack therof), and I have enjoyed his CP> for so long; the interlineal style is enjoyable and instructional (note CP> caveat, above). I also liked the Faulkner (was it Faulkner? the name CP> escapes me, so I'll take your word for it), and the illustrations were My memory could very well be faulty on the author's name. I've got it written down somewhere though and one of the local occult bookstores said they carry it on occasion. Picked up a couple of Budge's books yesterday, _The Mummy_ and _Tutankhamen_. Normally I don't bother with Tutankhamen stuff but there's some other interesting stuff in there like a "A Hymn to Ra when he rises in the East.' For $3 used I figured it was worth it.
