Nor was I at that age. I got routinely peturbed by things I should have
just sat back and laughed at. I was a bit too sensitive for most Teens,
and way too over-sensitive to people screwing themselves. I just didn't
have the ability to let things go ...
..hm. Seems like you and I were about opposites at that point in time.

Actually, the first place I saw an off-line reader was a C-64. Used one
on my C-128 for a while. I think most people just aren't aware of them
...
I can understand quoting paragraphs at a time, but the built-in quoting
features are more than adequate for leaving out the origin lines and
greetings. I used them for 2 something years with no problem.
   It's harder to edit the quote to include "exactly what you want", but
   it's still workable...

Although I agree with the point, I don't see how it applies to this
issue .. as in, may you're seeing a side I'm not. Or maybe we're
disagreeing .. I'm not sure.

I've just seen two copies of "Confessions" and one of the "Book of Lies" in 
Barnes & Noble today!  This must be the sign, the warrior lord of the forties 
is finally reaching the nineties. :-)
