Actually, the first place I saw an off-line reader was a C-64. Used one on my C-128 for a while. I think most people just aren't aware of them ... I can understand quoting paragraphs at a time, but the built-in quoting features are more than adequate for leaving out the origin lines and greetings. I used them for 2 something years with no problem. It's harder to edit the quote to include "exactly what you want", but it's still workable... ... ... ...
