I'll post them to CatHouse, now that it looks much like the potential row between OTO and New Falcon is near to resolution. As Tony pointed out in one of his general posts, the files are useful even if you have the printed copy, since they're much quicker to search, compare, index and the like. My own library has over the years suffered the accidents of travel, the depredations of friends (and enemies), and periods of inadequate funding. I've been taking advantage of an especially flush time to repair and enhance my resources in that area, occasionally replacing paperback editions with hardback, just for the extra durability, you understand. If you're missing MWT, I'd be happy to pass it along to you in a month or two, when I've got the New Falcon hardback in hand. I still don't have a good line on Motta's two volume edition, though, which is said to include some material Regardie left out. My parents had adopted the remarkably enlightened attitude that it mattered more that I use my mind, than that I use it for something which they understood and approved. As a result, at the age of 15 I was provided with Crowley's _Confessions_, and the old Castle printing of _Magick_. I was a little (?!) unprepared for what I found. I did, however, persevere... Hey, F.A., how's it hanging? Anyway, just to get onto something more exciting, have you had a look at The Supreme Ritual? It's designed along the same lines of Israfel (the Tahuti invocation) but it's the one that AC used just before the recitation of Liber AL. He says in his notes that Rose told him what the ritual should be, and when it should be. I suspect that she, knowing who it was who was actually trying to get thru, watch him doing Israfel, and told him in a Victorian manner: The form is almost right, but the content is wrong. It's yet another "In Dwelling" ritual (aspecting for those who work the wiccan side of things). I really love the opening lines: Strike, strike the master chord! Draw, draw the flaming sword! Crownd Child and Conquering Lord, Horus, Avenger! I wonder if anyone is using this for a Vernal Equinox ritual... While Israfel is Mercurial and dispassionate, this ritual roars and thunders with Mars and unendurable passion. On a personal note: Well, now I have three Egpytian Invocation rituals, only six more and I'll have the entire Heliopolis Gang on call... Love is the law, love under will. You know Josh; As crazy as it might all seem, I have seriously thought about creating "propositions" and laws which would echo Thelemic principles. From what I understand it is only a matter of gathering enough signatures to get it on the ballot. The only thing stoping me is the fact that most people I know (yes, even Thelemites) don't even register to vote. This bothers me because with all the "fighting for freedom" we hear in Thelemic groups is nothing but a symbolic gesture to stroke ones ego while drinking beer with some one who is eqasily impressed by "valor". There is no link. At any rate, I will continue thinking about this, and studying the process involved with legislative procedure. I'll let ya know what happens. :) Love is the Law. Gerald ... I can't really say that I've ever used that but it does look intriguing. I'll deffinitely look into it. WHere can I find a copy? I have Israfel in my copy of _Gems from the Equinox_ but I've never even seen thhat ritual before! I'll try to look it up. Further, I've often wondered how much of a seer Rose was to Crowley.... Did she actually _know_ what was going on or was her role more of host for the higher forces? I've often wondered what Rose felt and/or thought when she was helping AC recieve _Liber AL_....... It must've been pretty weird.
