Thanks for your (collective) input since the  show I've been doing some
reading on Satanism in general and the Temple of Set in particular and found
myself quite fascinated. If I got any "message" from the show it was either be 
all in or all out, don't (as father used to say) do a half-job. But I actually 
do have a serious question that I've picked up from my reading. The Temple of
Set has a very strict injunction against destruction of biological organisms
in ritual. Now, from what I've read, La Vey had injunctions against human
sacrifice but they seemed more political (i.e. it's against the law and we're
no idiots) then it did philosphical or spiritual. But the TOS (I hope that is
an appropriate abreviation) seems to hold a philosophical position against the 
destruction of bio-organisms, to the point that drinking blood would be
banned. Could explain the reason for this? Would eating bread in ritual be
excluded (since yeast died to make the bread)? I am assuming that Setian are
not neccesarily Vegans so the injunction must only apply to ritual, is this
correct? Am I floundering in the dark?

...and the Plectron of the Gods" I am interested in getting a
copy of this book on xerox. It was written by Lance (sp.?) von 
Lieblings - are there any materials related to this guy in the 
Tos archives? He is mentioned at some length in Nicholas
Goodrich-Clark book.
Also, I read that at some point, translations of the Abernabe
material in the Library of Congress was being undertaken -has
there been any progress on that, and is it available?
Does any one know if there has been follow-up work done on the 
findings in "Atlantis of the North?" This book is on the TOS
reading list and it is excellent.
