Looks like this guy looked _very_ deep into his crystal ball.
I doubt very much that they will get very far with this method
for various reasons.
1st of all the tools available, the traditional electron microscope
is pretty useless on on sensitive living organic tissue and that
IBM is now able to sculpture their famous three letters on a
sub-molecular level doesn't help either for the same reason, as
soon as you involve extreme temperatures or radiation you bust
the spirit out of the dancing atoms which are held together
by field, force, indent or program whatever you want to call it.
   The genetical engineering from today is still a sledgehammer
method for achieving random results with a certain predictabilty.
2ndly I would be very surprised if the coded letters or words of
the DNA would fit into any logical schoolbook pattern like let's
say Boolean Algebra. When you approach the bare building blocks
of the micro/macro cosmos (e.g.through meditation) it seems to be
the case that logic & rationalization is more a hindrance than
anything else.
   Although I'm an engineer myself, I have my reservations about
the predictability of scientific procress, especially within 15yrs.
The script writers of "Mr.Frost" made quite a few philosophical
remarks on the conflict of magic & science hidden between their
mundane cliffhanger effects, in case you saw that movie.
   In Japan they are trying since 1.5 years to create a blue rose
with some multi million$ backing, this doesn't sound like reaching
for the stars, but there are no results.
   I think a revolution will come more from the alternative tech-
nology or vibrational healing side. Rudolph Steiner who spend
a couple of years together with A.Crowley in OTO said once: In
they future of mankind he sees us creating our children via the
charged spoken word. Since he was a rather practical guy there
was propably some ground for his vision.
   It seems to fit nicely into the craft of vac-siddhi from the
vedic tradition which after some years of practice produces
manifestations, a bit like a prayer with instant results.
   Recently I saw in a Russian mag. a report which described
the method of genetical manipulation from a Dr. Chiang who
left China as a scientific heretic. He has a machine which sends
modulated frequencies of one embryo or seed to another. The
photos were pretty impressive a cross between wheat and corn or
between duck and chicken, quite funny actually. His studies have
more in common whith Sheldrakes morphogenic fields, which didn't
get much credit from science either.

Greetings Michael,
The subject of my above post on DNA reminded me of some statement
you made on your excursion into the PODS OBE echo quite some time
ago: the number 666 relates to DNA in some way.
I collected already a few variations on the theme of this number,
from poeple with greater and lesser insight on it's meaning.
Since we are living in a world of multiple realities I'm not
after the ultimate truth, I'll respect any version which fits into
a different paradigm, whether I share it or not.
Excuse me if that person in numerical disguise, who made that
comment wasn't you, but still drop me a line on the symbolism
of 666, if your time allows.
My 2nd question; is your book that came forth through the night
available to non TOS members?
