If you have Fidonet access, you have Internet access.
Any Fidonet node can send Internet mail through a gateway; 1:1/31 is always 
the address of a gateway open to all Fidonet nodes, and there may be a system 
within your area that provides the same service.  If it's flying the GUUCP 
flag in it's nodelist entry, you should be able to use it instead of 1/31.
Simply address the message to UUCP at the gateway address, and as the first 
line of the message put:
to: president@whitehouse.gov
You must follow that with a BLANK line, before your actual message starts, or 
the gateway will not process it.
This works for any Internet address.
You can also receive mail from the Internet.  Your default address, assuming 
you don't make any special arrangements with one of the gateways, is:
glen.todd@f203.n128.z1.fidonet.org
If you were a point, there'd be a p##.f203 etc.
