   I to have dwelt in many things probably similar to what you have and will
 experience . i think I know how you feel about faith and I agree with most
 points , I've mentioned this . It shouldn't be taken for granted . I don't
 see the Stigmata as very religious , gracefull or sensitive. And so !?

The only thing I really find disturbing in your reply is that I was 14 when 
Shake, Rattle and Roll was released (I dunno if my folks ever did hear it 
(g)).
 When religious phenomena are manipulated to control "the masses," then it is 
damned unfortunate (and unfortunately, damned, depending on how you interpret 
the "sin" of simony") regardless of its manifestation.  This ranges from the 
cunning speaking trumpets built into Egyptian images to self-inflicted 
stigmata (self-inflicted with a razor, not as a result of religious fervor).
