I first read about it in the context of a "ban" in Texas, and so picked up a few bottles when I visited New Orleans last Fall. Even better, the neat label (including a dark swamp with moss-laden cyress trees) is reproduced faithfully on a black T-shirt sold in gift shops on the street paralleling the river a block or so from Jackson Square (I believe that's the name of the square -- has a big cathedral at the side farthest from the river). The T-shirts get many startled, admiring comments. I can give you the name of the gift shop where I got mine if you want to know. We caught this black guy and his friend looking into the window of the room the Temple is in; just curious. As an aside, I was bringing a large stump onto my patio to use as a chopping block and was carrying my new Gurka with me......he asked what it was for and I told him. His reaction was "Sheeeeit!"
