It's like you are like a general and you try to kill the other people. The game has like creatures and spells. More or less, the point of the game is to kill the other guy. 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Current~Resident Area: Mundane To: Force Of Nature 30 Aug 96 17:24:16 Subject: Re: MAGIC THE GATHERING CARDS UpdReq FO> The game isn't like cue cards. Sounds like FIST whatever that is. I have heard there are some new games on the web that mix the game with actual real life happening. Sort of like AD&D freaks gone commercial or maybe art and poetic terrorism combined with a sort of grand treasure hunt. It's like you think you are playing a game but really the game is playing you and pushing all your buttons. Of course we not are machines so the story line gets fairly wide and complex I guess. It must be like those people who just never enjoyed being a cog in a factory job, so they decided to be an artist and mesh life with art rather than mesh life with a factory. The interesting thing is that there is no WIN situation. You just stay alive until you expire or someone gets the jump on you. Sounds like an elaborate mouse trap to me. But then if you build a better mouse trap the world will beat a path to your door huh? ; But as they say in that new song about "the Big Chair", I hope the players are "writing as they're fighting, so the point isn't lost here." I don't remember the name of the band, sorry. 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718
