Yup. I was in that and another semipagan net that went with it: MASQUEnet. Both are dead as far as I'm concerned. Same for Hairnet, the 3rd Australian paganoid net. Once there were many many fractious and fractionated nets. Now there is only PODS and the not inconsiderable set of Magick and Pagan-friendly echos on Fido. (Technically, Independent Echo Block (with some remains of SkyNet) is not officially dead but that's mainly because Jimmac and I haven't the heart to break out the shovels to bury it.) 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718 From: Irv Koch Area: MagickNet To: Jim Taylor 3 Mar 98 00:32:28 Subject: Re: Former Glory UpdReq JT> I remember that Bill Moore was checking out a network JT> focusing on the mystical and the occult, headquartered JT> back east somewhere, but Bill's information died with him, unfortunately. Likely Mysticalnet out of Baltimore. Long dead. JT> JT> Maybe I'll pick up the OTHERNETS echo, long enough to JT> get their current list of networks; there might be If you find any, tell me. I've monitored that echo for years. For the last year or so, the moderator and list keeper has had hardware problems so the list wasn't maintained as usual. OTOH, I think he finally got it going again recently. OTOrigH, I doubt you'll find anything. BUT ... WWIVnet and WWIV technology networks do have some pagan/magick echos I hear. As far as I know, they're about the only serious non-FTN BBS activity left out there. Well, better ammend that. MajorBBS and some other software intended for giant multiline pay-systems had some networks too. 201434369420143436942014343694201434369420143436942014343694718
