It was only for people who'd completed the first part of our training program, so there were only seven people there, but it was incredible! We had to depend on our intuition to do things because not only was it non-verbal, we didn't map much out beforehand. The n-v cone of power was transcendental... gaudete, +dagonet+ ... UpdReq Hi Wart, Glad to hear from you. I've also been a victim of the Gremlins it appears, as the ST's Monitor is currently down, Thus I'm actually USING the C-64 (Oh The SHAME of it . . . The PAIN and DISHONOR . . . ). Lets me keep up on SOME Netsurfing anyway . I understand your in touch with Dag thru the Internet, so I'll let HIM give you my Snail and Phone #. Well anyway, I'm employed, I survived Lammas (Gee, I don't know WHY nobody else would volunteer for the priest slot. Put away the knife Daisy - ) and I finished the Tao of Physics with most of my brain intact. In deep pain, but intact. Give everybody out East a Hello from me, and when Dag gets my # to you, by all means gimme a call. UpdReq The handfasting was last night and it went beautifully. Due to lack of funds we ended up with me wearing my brown robe and we bought a yard of green veil material and three yards of satin cord (1 yard each white, silver, and gold) braided together to make a headband to hold the veil. A headband was fashioned the same way for Keeper (his being made with two yards of white and one black). Our handfasting cord was silver, gold, and black. He wore his leathers and we were both barefoot. It looked good, though. I looked like an elf queen and Keeper looked like a barbarian king. Thanks to our HPs (her step-father is a jeweler) we got a pair of silver bands for very little money. A clan sib and good friend, Bliss lent me an antique hand-blown glass staff to use during the ritual that had wonderful energy in it. I am a happy woman who has a wonderful man. Hopefully in a year things will be better off financially and we will be having our Lifetime (and make it legal!) instead of our 7-Year Handfasting. But I've got a lot to study already...so I'll defer it for the time being. Blessed Be, Milamber ... I have a dream...
