An important clarification: the things Gaia mentions here are the magickal equivalent of being able to keep out undesirables. For example, if you were opening up a club or bar, you'd have a bouncer to tell certain folks "You need to leave. Now." Once you can do that (magickally speaking), you can let in what you want, and the board can actually become a useful tool. --Kai MacTane. ... "CTHULHU in 96! Later RO> Rosebud RO> C'ya GAIA: Ok! Sound like you've got a good start! To me, magick is the art and science of applying will, desire and intention to manifest transformation personally and universally. Whenever you have focused your will to bring about change, you have worked magick. You might want to choose a system that appeals/calls to you - Wicca, Norse, Huna (Hawaiian), Wesoteric, High Ceremonial Magick, Kabbalah, Alchemy, Shamanism, etc., and focus on that for a while. It can get VERY confusing (not to mention, diffusive) to take a shotgun approach....work with one system until you get the basics, then you can move outward and begin to incorporate new ideas.... I'll be happy (as I'm sure others will!) to answer questions - specific questions do help quite a bit, if you can manage even a bit more specificity...(like, for example - what's the difference between Wicca and --- ? Or, What are some general principles of working Wiccan magick?") Bright blessings to you, Rosebud, on your Great Adventure!
