Subject: Familiars                              UpdReq 

I was wondering if I could ask a question to the collective consciousness 
here....What role do familiars play in the workings of Magick?  I have 
experienced my Familiar Cat Salem only Yawning infE~ attendance to my rituals!

     That's basically the result I've always gotten, too. I can only assume 
that that's exactly what's supposed to happen. It seems the entire glob of 
(whatever-you're-using) gets burned at once by the heat.
     I have seen write-ups of ceremonial magick groups that list the positions 
and duties of the officers. Many have a role like "Warden" or some such, one 
of whose duties is to look after the incense during rituals. I assume this is 
what's meant! :)
     Any Catholic priests on this net that wanna give us any pointers? (big 
grin)
