So the Greater/Lesser Keys of Solomon deal with summoning spirits and such.... has anyone used this book to do so? UpdReq Erin, if you can do Irish, you can do Scots and Manx. Just get a basic text and dictionary. I didn't realise how much I knew until I was reading a Celtic League magazine one day and found that I did in fact understand the articles in Scots and the one in Manx, though I had to read the one in Manx aloud before it made sense. I had the good fortune to study with Deirdre of Maidenhill, Gaelic teacher supreme. If anyone out there is in the greater Philadelphia area and looking for an Irish teacher, it's worth the trip to Souderton. She's terrific. U of Washington is supposed to be offering a course in Early Irish this winter and I hope to take it... they are listing it as an English dept course, so I can get something of magical interest and meet my English teacher recertification requirements for NH at the same time... The words for movement toward and away from direction are old. The words for cardinal points are fairly modern. At least, that's how it looks to me. Maybe after this winter I can speak with more authority and better references. I'm past baby Irish-- maybe preschool Irish? What is really funny is reading Irish books for children. The ones I've got are all so very Catholic. Practice! Practice! Practice! He was a former member of ADF, at least 2 Wiccan groups, the SCA, the Rong of Troth and the White Horse Kindred. And according to the police, who called Isaac Bonewits this morning, he is back in custody in New Mexico. They thanked us for our cooperation. I'm glad they know that this is not occult crime, but kinslaying of the worst kind (he killed his wife). They were very cooperative with ADF in the investigation. Robert Meek is back in custody.
