Thank you for answering my question. I would be interested in hearing more about your cybercraft. As stated elsewhere (in conjuction with Q.A.A.), I am very interested in the phases of change that magick is currently undergoing in this present renaissance. I am presently researching (or hope to get organized enough to) magick in conjugation with those brain machines. As a hopeful Sensual Media Engineer (simstim director) I hope to be able to combine these many mythos, technologies into tools for Gnosis. Imagine a virtual temple where the pentagrams etc.. are visible to outsiders as you draw them, godforms preprogrammed to give a physical interpretation. I realize drawing magick to the mundane may be a bad idea (the ants wouldn't know what to do, or would just corrupt it) but if kept for us, it might become a great aid. Imagine again a virtual MagickNet where you could perform group ceremonies, and train in the various traditions. See the Altered States echo for more exchnage on these ideas. Back to fictional mythos..... Considering how the characters and qualities of certain fictional characters, echo those of the various Pantheon's, it seems only commonsense to utilize those forms which are more familiar to individuals. Imagine an X-Men pantheon for young Chaos (or discordian) magicians. No reason why it couldn't work I suppose. Please give more feedback regarding these topics, either her or on Altered States. Have you read Clive |Barker's _Imajica_ ? It is actually a Grimoire of Sparean Traditions. (Or so I read into it.) UpdReq Sorry to hear that. I once was involved with a young lady who turned into a fundie. Real bad news... After having attended the church for a week she dumped me because she said I was SATAN, then a week later she was removed from her household when her mother wouldn't convert from baptist to Apostolic, Then a week later she Withdrew from her Fall classes at Towson State, because SATAN was at Towson, (wait I thought I was Satan? I'm not in Towson), and one more week after that she married her 26 yr old youth counsler (I was 16 at the time). Anyway I checked out the place and it was spooky as FUNDAMENTALISM , people Waving their hands in the Air, Speaking in tongues, giving away all their stuff because the world was going to end in a month with the Rapture (this was back in the summer of '88). I've seen her since then and she is one *uckin' head case. In fact all of them are. Warehouse Religion... kind a freaky. These mindcontrol -ssholes are some of the most Demonic people I've ever met. Don't get me wrong I've met _alot_ of good x-tian's who have just imprinted x-ianty into their systems. Some of them are even quite Thelemic in their attitudes towards life. Live and let live. Soot when I was young I use to yearn to be a member of one of those down home Black baptist churches. They always looked like they were loving life. And boy thier singing will make the light shine from the corner of your eyes. Hope you can deal with those Zombies, okay. I saw a "geraldo" show once where the Fundamentalist Born-agains were using the women of the parish as Prostitutes to earn money for the Church. They couldn't enjoy the wild thing with their hubbies, put if they were doing it with strangers in the name of Jesus, well it was hunky dory, in fact I guess a little better than hunky-dory. People are people....
