Hmm. What kind of proof is that? Does it prove that such messages are from discarnate entities? No. Does it prove the validity of the messages' content? Not by itself. Such messages must be checked for validity and internal consistency. That's the problem I have with most people's response to channeled data. They immediately assume that it's true because of the source. To illustrate, if a channeled entity said to purchase, say, IBM stock, would you do so or would you check the financial pages, annual reports, and overall track-record beforehand? I find it disturbing that, if the information came from a human, they'd check, but if from, say, Ramtha, they wouldn't. Of course, most channeled entities get around this problem by refraining from making any remarks that are testable. How can you devise an experiment to test assertions like "we make our own reality", or "Love is the glue that binds together the physical and the spiritual worlds"? No such thing. Now, to adress your question: My own personal experiences with Magick have tended toward synchronicity rather than Hollywood-style lightning bolts. It seems like a lot of ritual work creates a harmonic resonance that acts nonlocally, creating circumstances in line with that resonance. We then anthropomorphise this into a "Holy Guardian Angel". There is undoubtedly more to this than I elucidate, but this is what strikes me as most "real" and we can cross-reference it with existing physics, rather than having to put forth the old dodge that Magick is "Supernatural" and therefore we can tell you how it works without having to explain why or prove it. This is not to say that scientific method is ideal to such studies - since each resonance is unique to its context, replicability goes out the window.
