What did he think they were used for?  Washboards?  :)
Somewhere, in the vast amounts of schtuff I've read in the past three
days, on the topic of coloration of the tablets, I saw something about
an option of coloring the planetary-sign-attributed sides of the
pyramids in their Zodiacal colors, or painting them in straight
Elemental colors by triplicities.
Comments, anyone, on this?  I considered doing 'em both, just to
compare them.  Of course, that's assuming you subscribe to the GD
pattern of attributions, which may not necessarily be the case.  :)
