    Can you or have you ascertained any infuence upon the Masons that would 
result from the division between the Roman and the Celtic Orders.  The only 
oine that is obvious tyo me is the division between York and Scottish Rites. 
York Rites - members must believe in Yeshwa as God.
Scottish Rites - members must believe in Deity.
    The Celtic Kirk was much less concerned with how one viewed God than how 
one perceived the moral obligation of the behavior of J.C.  The Roman was 
more concerned with the ritual than the behavior.  These appear to have 
carried over.  York was a Roman gateway into the North, and the Scottish 
Rites appear to reflect more native thinking.

    The shadow as demon, or thing that hides from the Sun, is something I've 
run across in some sub-Saharan cosmologies.  The Circle as I understand it is 
not a guard but an associative draw upon the formation of cycle.  What I 
understand the circle for is the improvement of natural cycles that are 
invested with the mainatenance of balance such that nothing out of cycle will 
negate the operation attempted.  If the focus is to icrease the harmony of 
the Divine Will(s) and Self Wills then isn't this more likely the function of 
the Circle - to associate the properties of reflexive order to the operation 
at hand?
    One of Michael Moorcocks truisms was that ritual is less necessary in 
emergency - rather a psychic adrenaline kicks in when magick is paramouunt 
and survival demands access to the cycles themselves.  If this is true then 
events counter to our wills are paramount to the moving wheel and the Millers 
Stone is a Calender of greater events and sings only when our will is 
sacrificed to the greater harmony of powers.

Flat Sqares versus Pyramids.
    If the association is for substantiation only then flat squares is fine 
based on my perspective.  The pyramid is the formulae for perfect 
interaction, but might be substituted for if the Golden Section is used for 
the delineation of the squares.  Relativity in the Square root of Five.

Still new to this BBS.
Your text correlates other mythoi that I have been exposed to.  On the day he 
died, Monteczuma, Last Emporer of the Aztlan Denne said:

Glory to believe that it was in the preciousness of the Empire.  But I see 
now that Glory is in God.  Keep this word my daughter and teach it.  In Eight

    This is paraphrased from memory.  But his daughter did teach this.  And 
the Eighth Cycle from his death began in 1986 when the Serpent walked the 
Stairs to the bottom of the Temple, and ended the Seventh World.  By the 
Denne we now stand in the Eigth World the world of Renewel.  It is now that 
the Children of the Rainbow come forth.  It is also now that Spder Woman and 
Wolf Rider come forth.  The Noon of the Smoking Jaguar is passed.
    The Aztlan Calendar counted time towards the end of the Empire.  The 
Empire fell on the day predicted.  Only 666 men remained alive in the whole 
nation, also as predicted.  These saw the ending of the world.
