From: Rakshasa Area: ENOCHIAN To: Crat 2 Oct 92 02:03:22 Subject: Excess Sent UpdReq I am at present working with the Thirty Aethyrs of the Nineteenth Enochian Key. My preparation for each working consists of an asana and some breathing exercises to get my mind cleared and in a proper frame, a quick and improptu Setian invocation (my version of the LRBP; the purpose is to clear the mind and level the energy within your psychic space), and a drink from my chalice to symbolize my desire to gain knowledge. From there I get into a half-lotus position and call out the Aethyr. As soon as I finish I close my eyes and clear my thoughts. The visions which then arise are carefully watched and studied. I find, invariably, that they fit upon a set pattern--typically what happens within a few seconds is akin to a lucid dream. I go through this vision, then, immediately after it ends, I write it down. I then consider what it means to my current stage of magical development and how this information can help me to develop further. I would be interested in seeing how others use the Enochian Keys. That is, I will be able to evoke their powers once I have discerned them through scrying. I have not yet tried an Enochian evocation, to be honest; I have used the "bastard Enochian" of the Goetia to great effect on several occasions, but never the Dee Enochian. What have your experiences with evocations using the Keys been? 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718 From: Paul Hume Area: ENOCHIAN To: Analia 29 Sep 92 10:47:48 Subject: Re: EXCESS UpdReq Analia - I agree with much of what you say, but one thing in your post niggles me..."If there are no right ways to do these rites, how can there be a wrong way?" Easily - like anything else, it can be wrong when done sloppily, casually (in the offhanded sense), without thought or awareness. When jumbled, jangled, halting, etc. Paul 718499927771849992777184999277718499927771849992777184999277718
