If you have any questions about the activities of RealWorld Corp. or if you would like to file a complaint directly to RealWorld Corp., you may contact them at the following address: RealWorld Corporation 282 Loudon Road Concord, N.H. 03302-2051 Phone: (603) 224-2200 RealWorld Corporation (hereby referred to as RWC) is a manufacturer of accounting software. RWC is a privately owned corporation affiliated with the Church of Scientology. All RWC stockholders are members of the Church of Scientology. RWC was founded as a spin-off company from MCBA, a Scientology-based company that manufacturers accounting software for mini-computers, and was formerly known as MBSI. RWC has since spawned another spin-off Scientology-based company known as Practical Software, which is based in Clearwater Florida. You're probably asking yourself what is a "Scientology-based" company. To explain that one first must know some things about the "Church" of Scientology. The Church of Scientology was founded by a science fiction writer named L Ron Hubbard. L Ron Hubbard wrote many books about many things. This "church" is not your ordinary run of the mill church by any means. It is being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service and the church and church members have been convicted in court of *MANY* serious crimes, including tax-evasion, extorsion, kidnapping, and murder. As I said, this is not your run of the mill church! The Church of Scientology has devised a scholastic system which will replace schools as we know them. Some of these "schools" are already operating and according to the Scientologists the rest of the schools in the United States will be converted when the Church of Scientology assumes power. L Ron Hubbard also devised "Dianetics" which Scientologists call "the modern science of mental health." Dianetics is a system of counseling which, according to the Scientologists, will replace psychiatry. Dianetics has been dismissed as unscientific foolishness by all major medical groups, including the American Medical Association. Because of the dismissal of Dianetics by the American psychiatric community Scientologists have developed an intense hatred of psychiatrists and therapists. The "in" Scientologists often sport bumper stickers which say "Psychiatrists do it with RATS!" or "Psychiatry Kills!" (I'm serious!) L Ron Hubbard also wrote a system of business management which the Church of Scientology has adopted and this is where RealWorld Corporation comes in. This management system, called the "Hubbard Management Technology" is used by all Scientology-based companies and by the Church of Scientology itself. It is the use of the "Hubbard Management Technology" which gives RWC some of it's most serious problems. All employees of RWC must undergo "company training" which consists of an introduction to Scientology and the basics of the Hubbard Management Technology. This has caused many employees to complain to the state labor board and has caused many employees to quit on their first day. RWC gets by with this by claiming that it is company business training and is needed by all employees. Also in the name of "company training" RWC will send its church member employees to Clearwater Florida to attend Church of Scientology classes at the Church of Scientology owned "Flag" Hotel and Resort. Of course all this "company training" is written off as company expenses. As I said earlier, all RWC stockholders are members of the Church of Scientology. In addition, all management above Department Director are also all members of the Church of Scientology. This has also caused RWC problems as at least 2 former RealWorld Corporation employees are suing RWC for religious discrimination. Those cases are still pending in court. RealWorld Corp. has caused an uproar among the population of Concord New Hampshire, a mainly Baptist city, about the companies actions and the influx of Scientologists which have moved into the area. This was brought to light when RWC filed its plans for construction of it's manufacturing building and the city's largest newspaper, the Concord Monitor, ran headline stories about how much the building resembled the cross of the Church of Scientology. To tone down the criticism RealWorld modified the plans for the building. Actions like these with the building of a Mission of the Church of Scientology and the construction of Church of Scientology schools have resulted in many disputes and newspaper stories. But of most concern has been the actions of RealWorld Corporation itself. In addition to giving thousands of dollars a month to the Church of Scientology, RWC has contributed thousands of dollars to a campaign in Boston to close down Mass General Hospital's psychiatric wing. RealWorld has funded billboards and radio ads to stop what it calls "psychiatric cruelty." Questions have also been raised about RWC's employees and their on-the-job activities. All Scientologists hate the Internal Revenue Service, especially since the church has come under the IRS' investigation, and want to see the IRS dismantled. To help quicken the IRS' demise the Church of Scientology believes that anything that costs the IRS additional money is a good thing. So while on RealWorld company time RealWorld employees who are members of the Church of Scientology will order IRS tax forms and instruction booklets. These are ordered by the largest quantity possible and when they arrive they are thrown straight into the garbage! It is unknown how much money acts like this is costing our government (and me and you!). This briefly describes some of the activities of RealWorld Corporation. All these activities are funded by the profits RealWorld Corp. makes selling its accounting software. I ask you, is this the way you want a company that you support (by buying it's product) to act?!? If not I suggest you join the many people who are boycotting Scientology-based companies. If you are a RealWorld software dealer please drop your dealer status like many other dealers already have and let RealWorld Corporation know WHY you dropped their software. If you know a store that sells RealWorld accounting software please ask them to remove it from their shelves and tell them WHY. Please join us to help stop funding this menace which seeks to destroy our country as we know it ...
