                   Guidelines for Submissions to "The Bridge"

   "The  Bridge"  will be published quarterly, focusing on the High Sabbats.  We
wish  to mail each issue 1 month prior to each Sabbat (which means this issue is
about  a  month late!) so that any ritual material published will arrive in time
to  be used.  To do this we need any material submitted to arrive 2 months prior
to the issue, hence deadlines for submission are as follows:

   Spring:  1 March

   Summer:  1 June

   Autumn:  1 September

   Winter:  1 December

   This  will  allow us sufficient time to process, type, edit and translate the
material.   Anything submitted in a language other than German or English should
be  sent  as  early as possible, to give us time to send it to a translator.  We
will  try  to  translate  and  publish  all  material  that we receive, with the
exception  of  poetry.   Any  poetry  will  be  published  only in the origional
langauge,  as  too  much  of the meaning is lost in translation.  We welcome the
help of anyone willing to translate for the newsletter.

   Keep  in mind that anything we publish is part of the Public Domain. (See the
bottom of page one.)  Therefore we cannot publish anything which already bears a
copyright, unless we receive written consent from the copyright owner along with
the material submitted.

   As  we  wish this newsletter to be as informative as possible we ask that you
annotate  (footnote) any sources which you draw upon.  i.e., If you have adapted
a  ritual  from  one  tradition, incorporating elements of your own and/or other
traditions,  then  indicate which portions of the ritual were derived from which
sources.   This will allow comparison by others who may wish to use it, and also
help  others  to  understand  how and why you adapted the ritual to fulfill your
particular  purpose.   (Again,  bear in mind any copyrights pertaining to quoted
material.)

   We  will  edit  any  submissions  to  the  least possble extent beyond normal
proofreading  (e.g. spelling, grammar1, etc.).  In cases of uncertainty, we will
print the material verbatum.  "The Bridge" should be open to different opinions,
we  make  no  judgements  upon  them  in  editing,  so  long  as the material is
consistant  with  the description and goals of the network.  (Partisan political
propaganda  will not be published.)  We welcome any input regarding the contents
and editing of the newsletter.

   Finally,  "The  Bridge"  can  only  be  published  through your efforts.  The
contents of this newsletter depend on the members of Between the Worlds Network.
So  please  share  with  us  all  what  you are doing, why and how, and use this

follows:  masculine:  wicca;  feminine: wicce; plural: wiccan.  Would any Druids
please  comment  on  the  use of the term "Druidess", outside of translations of
Caesar and Pliny?
